American Girl Hats and Ponchos

After learning how to make a basic beanie. I began learning how to add this cute visor. It took a few tries to get it right, but now I can pretty much tell when I am making the hat, how many stitches to add to the hat and how long to go out. This was my first one and the brim was really short.

Some of my later versions.

This is my favorite, and my daughter is begging me to make her a hat and cape to match her doll.
(So it is on my to-do list .)

Fall Infinity Scarf

I just love this scarf. It works up really quick. I doubled it up and tied it, and added an old button cover I had laying around.

If you want to make one for yourself. You can get the pattern free here.

Chemo Crocheted Hats

I made these for my Mother In Law who is undergoing chemo now for stage IV bladder cancer. I wanted to make her some hats nice enough to wear out when she leaves the house.

This is a chemo turban I made. I just made a hat that was a little bigger and gathered the front and added a flower.

I got this pattern here. I just increased the rounds to make it larger for an adult.  IMG_0596
